The Aussies are truly a dog for every style. They thrive when they have a job to do, and want more then anything to please. Exceptionally intelligent and super loyal, they always want to be by your side. They are active and affectionate, eager to please and friendly. They have a lifespan of 12-15 years, and generally weigh between 30-60 pounds.
The Aussies come in 4 color combinations. The markings and patterns make for a range of colorful combinations. The colors are black, red, blue merle and red merle. all colors can be with white markings and tan points. I have all 4 color combinations in my litters.
Some Aussies are born with natural bob tails. Others have beautiful full, long tails. My Aussies have both! Traditionally, breeders have docked tails when puppies are born. I don't - the tail remains untouched here at PowerHouse. We have loved Aussies since 1996.
